Everyone should be able to use this website. Here’s what we’ve done, where we know it falls short, and how to get help.

Our commitment

We want everyone to be able to learn about their rights and reach us, whatever device or assistive technology they use. Our goal is for this website to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, and we test against that standard as we build and update the site.

What we’ve done

  • Clear structure. Pages use real headings, lists, landmarks and labels, so screen readers can move through them easily.
  • Keyboard access. You can reach and use every link, menu, form field and button with a keyboard alone.
  • Visible focus. A clear outline shows where you are as you tab through a page.
  • Readable color contrast. Text and controls meet WCAG contrast ratios, and we never rely on color alone to show an error or a choice.
  • Text alternatives. Meaningful images have alt text; decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
  • Accessible forms. Every field has a label, and errors are described in words and linked to the field that needs fixing.
  • Captions. Where we publish video, we provide captions.
  • Large tap targets. Buttons and links are sized for touch on phones.

Known limitations

Some content comes from other companies, such as Google reviews and maps, and articles or documents we link to. We don’t control how those are built, so they may not fully meet the same standard. If something on our site or a page we link to gets in your way, please tell us and we’ll help another way.
